Use polymer clay to create dishes for your jewelry. It is fun to make!

Petra lives near Pilsen, Czech Republic. Ever since childhood, she has loved learning new craft techniques. By age fifteen, she began studying art at various art schools in Pilsen before receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, University of West Bohemia. She has been working for LUCY CLAY since 2014.
Materials and tools:
- Polymer clay (Pardo Transparent and Cernit Nature Savanna)
- Machine
- Scalpel, Blade – LC Handy Blade
- Any round template (cup, paper template,…)
- Bowl or plate
- Heart cookie cutter
- Sandpaper
- Golden acrylic paint, sponge, and a small brush
- Baby wipes
Step 1
Condition savanna polymer clay and make a thick sheet.
Step 2
Use your template to cut a circle from the polymer clay sheet.
Step 3
Press the heart cookie cutter down to stamp the pattern on the circle.
Step 4
Place the circle gently into an oven-safe plate or bowl. Bake it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 5
Let it cool completely, then remove your dish from the mold. Sand the rim.
Step 6
Use a small brush to paint the rim and the heart. Allow the paint to dry, and our polymer clay dish is ready for use.
