Hana Slabá
Hana lives in South Moravia and the joy of handwork has accompanied her since her school years. She discovered polymer clay in about 2014 and working with it brings her relaxation. She would like to keep creating and exploring the possibilities and various uses of the medium with lots of support from her family. Visit her website: www.fimo-hany.webnode.cz
STEP 1
Condition three shades of polymer clay and extrude them all through both discs. Cut all the strands into pieces approx. 5 cm long.
STEP 2
Start assembling a cane from the extruded sticks.
STEP 3
Gently press the cane together and cut the cane into equally thick slices using a sharp blade.
STEP 4
Or you can use LC Slicer to make the slices more precise.
STEP 5
Place them next to each other and smooth over a piece of parchment paper.
STEP 6
Place your LC Shape Plate on your pattern and cut out the desired shapes.
STEP 7
Condition the clay of one color and roll it through the machine with the filter texture. Cut the same shape again and place the part with pattern into the desired position. Then use LC Shape Plate again to cut out small shapes.
STEP 8
Extrude some round strands of clay and apply them carefully on the edges. Now you can attach a pin on the back to make a brooch, or a pendant bail to make a necklace. You can also make small earrings.
