Materials and tools:
- Polymer clay (brown)
- Machine
- Czextuder + LC Disk 14 (small square)
- Scalpel, blade
- Bracelet mold
- Black acrylic paint
- Fine steel wool
- Cord
Step 1
Condition polymer clay. I used two shades of brown clay.
Step 2
Extrude the clay through the small square disc from LC Disk 14. You will need three extrusions.
Step 3
Start making a classic braid – cross the strands over the middle strand.
Step 4
Stop when your braid is long enough. Cut off the excess clay. Slightly press the ends, the braid becomes narrow on both ends.
Step 5
Place it on the mold and bake it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 6
Let it cool down and remove it from the mold.
Step 7
Paint it black and let dry.
Step 8
Rub it with fine steel wool.
Step
The bracelet is slightly bendable, so it is easy to put on. I also added a sliding knot closure. This ensures the bracelet does not fall off while wearing.
