Materials and tools:
- Polymer clay (colors of your choice)
- Machine
- Czextuder + LC Disk 8 (semicircle)
- Scalpel, blade
- Heart cookie cutter (or heart stencil)
- Liquid polymer clay
- Texture sponge or sandpaper
- Mini-drill
- Screw eye, jump ring, and chain
Step 1
Condition polymer clay (colors of your choice) and put it into the Czextruder. Use the semicircle disc from LC Disk 8 and extrude the clay.
Step 2
Use the machine to make a sheet about 1 mm thick. It can be a small sheet but it has to be bigger than your cookie cutter.
Step 3
Cut the extrusions into smaller pieces. Place them on the sheet. Slightly press.
Step 4
Use a cookie cutter to cut a heart shape. Bake according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 5
Make another sheet of clay and texture it – I used sandpaper.
Step 6
Cover the backside of the baked part with liquid polymer clay and place it on the textured sheet.
Step 7
Cut the heart shape. Texture the edges and bake again.
Step 8
Drill a hole.
Step 9
Hang the pendant on the chain. You are done.
