Materials and tools:
- Black polymer clay
- Machine
- LC Microstencils Set 13
- Metallic acrylic paint or metallic powders
- Round cutters – ø 35 mm and ø 8 mm
- Needle or pin
- Sandpaper
- Varnish
- Leather cord
Step 1
Condition black polymer clay and run it through the machine at the middle settings.
Step 2
Run conditioned clay with LC Microstencil of your choice through the machine. Use the same settings.
Step 3
Do not remove the LC Microstencil and apply acrylic paint with your fingers. You can also use metallic powder.
Step 4
Remove the LC Microstencil and let the paint dry.
Step 5
Place the sheet on the round cutter with the painted side down. Make a hollow – gently push the clay down with your finger.
Step 6
Make another sheet of clay. Place the cutter with the hollow shape on it and cut through both layers. Remove the cut off clay before removing the round cutter.
Step 7
Pierce the pendant with a pin, so the air can escape out.
Step 8
Make a hole with the smaller cutter and bake according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 9
If needed, sand the edges and the backside of the pendant. Apply varnish and hang the pendant on the leather cord.
